Posted on by Kelly @ Sugar Everywhere

Its been a long time since this blog on our website has been updated.
Been so busy with making some fabulous cakes. #Lovingit
Sugar Everywhere would not be where it is today if it wasn’t for our fabulous customers who allow me to create their special cake.

It is now October 2016 and our diary is now closed apart from a small window that is free for Christmas orders.
Sugar Everywhere will be at The Buckingham Christmas Light Switch on Saturday November 26th  where you can purchase some goodies as well as book into our Christmas diary for any of those last minute Christmas cakes or gifts  you want.

Watch out for the more details coming soon.
Now its half term and I have lots of cake to work on each evening.

Best wishes

Chase’s Crew

A little information on something that you wont know.
For the last 2 months I have been working hard not just with cakes but with something new!!

Little Lady Ghost was part of the Halloween raffle raising money for Helen and Douglas House Hospice.
I also played another part in the fundraising as I am part of Chase’s Crew.

We are a dance crew that do flash mobs raising money in memory of the beautiful Chase Howie. Our first dance was on October 31st at the fundraiser and we had a great time showing everyone our secret!!

If you would like to see another side to me you can find us on Facebook to see the next event we will be dancing at!

Halloween Event

Posted on by Kelly @ Sugar Everywhere
As a cake maker you get the chance to grow with some of your clients as a family. For some it starts at a wedding cake followed by a christening and then birthdays. It really is an honour to be able to do this and bring happiness as I go.
I have not only had that honour with one little lady but the privilege to be able to call her a friend. One of the strongest women I have ever met, taken far too soon and missed by so so so many people.
Chase grew her angel wings only 3 months ago at Helen and Douglas House Hospice in Oxford.
This amazing place took care of a family I hold very dear in such a difficult time. Those who love the Howie family are trying to help give something to Helen & Douglas house in memory of Chase.
This Halloween (Saturday 31st October) there is a great night out planned that raises money doing just that.
Tickets are £10 per person. There is also a just giving page if you are unable to attend but would like to donate. (Link in comments)
Optional Fancy Dress, Hog Roast, Live band, Disco, Photo Booth and a lucky dip raffle with some fabulous prizes including hampers, hot air balloon ride, glider experience and of course a cake from Sugar Everywhere!!
This will be a thriller of a night with lots of fun and laughter!
You can purchase via contacting
Fund raising for Douglas House Oxford on Facebook
Hope to see you there!!!

Good bye 2013 hello 2014

Sometimes I write these posts wondering if I am talking to myself, but I have decided even if I am then it gives me something to look back on.

2013 has been a great year with lots of new things tried and even our first wedding cakes.
As my family grows the more time I can find for cake as our youngest has started nursery.
I was asked the other day what my favourite cake to date was…
That is such a hard one.
I can name the cake that nearly broke me!!
The cake that had me crying into fondant at 3am, I can also name the cake that kept me up till 5am.
But to pick my favourite is just too difficult.

Sugar Everywhere brings me so much joy as well as tears at times but I still love what I do & I really believe that tears just prove how much I care.

There seems to be more and more cake businesses popping up around but we are so very lucky that we have a fabulous client base with many loyal returning customers.
We are so thankful for each & everyone of our clients as you all help support our little local business.

2014 has some great times ahead. it’s already February and we are fully booked until March.
We have wedding cakes booked for April, May, July, August & September as well as a minimum of a one booking per month for the whole year ahead!

The blog has not been kept up to date as things have been so busy but today I have uploaded LOTS of pictures to the albums along we some new pages as those who visit regularly (Hi mum!! mum-in law!!) 😉
will notice.
Go have a look around and of course feel free to leave a comment or three!!

Now it’s a Saturday… all cake has gone for the weekend & the evening has been spent on the website update.
Now time for bed.

I leave you with some photo grids of Sugar Everywhere work in 2013.
Thanks for reading & supporting SE

A farm for Jessica

Posted on by Kelly @ Sugar Everywhere

We really enjoyed this one for Jessica,
We were asked to make a cake with a farm yard theme to it for Jessica who is celebrating her 3rd birthday. We were told it must have a pony but the rest was left to us.

Wanted the design to be prettied up a little for a girl so loved adding the bright & pastel colours of flowers and putting Jessica’s name in some bright colours.

We are very pleased to say that the birthday girl and her family loved it as much as we do!

Sugar Everywhere were asked to make a wedding cake for Karen & Simon’s special day.
The day was doubly special as it was also the bride Karen’s 40th birthday on the same day.

The couple wanted to mark this on the cake as after all you do normally have a cake on your birthday :)

This 3 tier cake is covered in ivory icing & has blossoms to the bottom & top tier with butterflies to the middle tier. The back of the cake has a secret where 40’s have been hand painted to represent the brides birthday
