Where are your cakes cupcakes etc made?
All our cakes, cupcakes etc are handmade in our own kitchen,
All orders are made fresh just for you.

How big are your cakes/cupcakes?

Novelty cakes are of many various sizes.
Round cakes go up to 12″
Square cakes go up to 12″
Our standard cupcakes are approximately 51mm across the bottom of the case. (muffin case)
Please just ask for the size you require.

Can you make me a special design or based on a theme of my choice

Yes of course, that is why we’re here!

How much does a bespoke cake cost?
Celebration cake prices start from £35 & cupcakes start from £2.00 each
(Please note there is a minimum order of 12 for cupcakes)

How do I store my cupcakes?
Sugar Everywhere advise to get the best from your cupcakes, that you store them in the box that they are collected/delivered in, in a cool place.
Sugar Everywhere recommend that they are not stored in the fridge and that the cupcakes are consumed within 48 hours of collection/delivery when at their best.

How do I store my cake?
Cakes should be stored in a cool, dark place & off the floor, away from any strong odours & in the box supplied.
Sponge cakes (including chocolate) are best eaten within five days of collection/delivery.
Fruit cakes will last for months when stored correctly.
Any cake not eaten immediately after cutting should be stored in an airtight container to maintain it’s freshness.
Celebration cakes should not be refrigerated.
All products that should be refrigerated will have a refrigerate me label.
Also ensure that cakes are not placed in direct sunlight.
(Especially chocolate cakes!!)

No responsibility can be accepted by Sugar Everywhere for deterioration of cakes not stored correctly.

Do your cakes, cupcakes etc contain nuts are they suitable for vegetarians?
Please note that although a product may not contain nuts, all items are made in a kitchen that handles nuts.
All products are suitable for vegetarians, except for those containing marshmallow (gelatine).

Sugar Everywhere does not use animal fats or animal-derived food colours.

Our items are not suitable for vegans or those with gluten or wheat allergies.  If you require a cake/cupcakes that are please do get in touch.
All our items contain eggs. (Unless a egg free cake has been ordered of course)None of our items contain alcohol, unless specifically listed as an ingredient.

Therefore, if you have any food allergies, we would ask that you contact Sugar Everywhere to discuss your needs & we will see if we can help.

How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
Please give as much notice as possible to ensure that we can cater for your order.

Do you send cakes/cupcakes through the post?
No, as personally we don’t believe they should be posted!

How do I pay for the order?
Payment can be made in cash either in person or into our bank account
Bank transfer ~ please asks for Bank Details.
Barclays Ping it app.
Cheque ~ payment at least 14 full working days before your collection/delivery is due to ensure the cheque clears in our bank account.

Do you take electronic payments?
Paypal can  be accepted however an additional fee of 3.4% + 20p is payable should you choose to pay by Paypal.

No order is confirmed until a 50% non-refundable deposit has been received.
Your date will not be booked until the deposit is received.
We are limited to the amount of orders we can accept & therefore to avoid disappointment it is recommended that your deposit is paid as soon as possible.

We can deliver locally subject to availability & there will be a fee for delivery.
Quotes do not included delivery fees so please ask for a quote on delivery.
Collection of course if free of charge. (In an agreed time slot)

If for any reason no one is present to receive delivery of your order at the delivery address you have provided to us we will take the order back to Sugar Everywhere & retain it for 24 hours. We will put a notification card through the delivery address’s letterbox.
During this time the order may either be collected personally by you, or you may pay an additional delivery fee for a further delivery to you within in the next 24 hours (subject to delivery availability) ***

Orders are to be collected by you from Sugar Everywhere within a given time slot which we will prearranged between you & Sugar Everywhere.
If for any reason you find yourself unable to collect your order within the given time slot, we will retain your order for collection by you for 24 hours, or an additional charge can be paid for delivery to your address.***

*Sugar Everywhere accept no responsibility for loss or damage to the cake once it has been collected or delivered.

*If you require a call out to repair a cake then this will incur further charges.

*** Collection/Delivery Notes
Orders which were due to be collected by you & which you failed to collect on the appointed day, or orders we have taken back to Sugar Everywhere because you were not available to receive them during the delivery slot that was agreed for you.
Must be placed by us in our fridges overnight to comply with Food Safety legislation.
Accordingly these products cannot be kept by us at an ambient temperature & are therefore likely to deteriorate.
We cannot accept any responsibility for deterioration of the products in these circumstances.

Can I make alterations to my order?
Changes to your order will be accommodated wherever possible; you will be told if changes are subject to additional charges.

What is your cancellation policy?
If for some reason you need to cancel your order you must notify Sugar Everywhere, as soon as possible.
A full forfeiture of the deposit will be required.
If full payment has been made but it is more than two weeks for celebration cakes & eight weeks for wedding cakes from the date of the event, you will receive a 50% refund.
If you need to change the dates for your order Sugar Everywhere will try to accommodate this but is subject to availability & may incur a extra fee.

In the unlikely event of Sugar Everywhere having to cancel your order due to unforeseen circumstances you will be notified at the earliest opportunity.
Any monies in this instance that have been already paid including the non-refundable deposit will be returned to you.

Anything else I need to know?
Corrections & repairs to cakes including misspellings or mistakes can be corrected on the same day in most cases. You must give us the opportunity & let us know of any problems contact Sugar Everywhere immediately. (or within 30 minutes of collection or delivery) & we will try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Please note we are not responsible for mistakes made by the customer so please double check all spellings etc on your booking/confirmation email/form.

Complaints are extremely rare & so we take them very seriously.
Some complaints may require further investigation so an immediate refund is not always possible. Cakes or samples of cakes must be supplied to us within 48 hours to ensure that we are fairly able to assess the nature of the complaint.

Cakes must be stored as per storage instructions above.
The maximum refund we offer is the value of the cake and delivery costs.
Further compensation is not available.
We will only make a refund via the original payment method.
If payment was via paypal the fee will not be refunded.

Under no circumstances shall we be liable to you in respect of any complaint concerning any aspect of any order which is not raised by you within 24 hours of  collection/delivery.

Since taste is a very personal matter & subjective we cannot accept the return of any products merely because you do not like the taste.
The order will be at your risk from the time you collect it from Sugar Everywhere or we deliver it to you.

Ownership of the order will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due for it, including delivery charges.
